Tennessee Electronic Library in 2011
In 2010, there were 29,331,338 searches in the various TEL databases. In 2011, there were 33,862,736 searches in TEL. That’s a 15% increase! Learning Express Library usage increased the most, with a 26% gain from last year. The Gale databases are by far the most-used part of TEL, with almost 30 million searches total (an 18% increase from last year). Use by schools increased the most, up 34% in 2011. Academic libraries are using TEL 28% more than they did last year.
