Search TN Newspapers
Go directly to all Tennessee newspapers As a Tennessee resident you now have full text access to the four metropolitan Tennessee newspapers. The Tennessee Electronic Library (TEL) now provides full-text content of Chattanooga Times-Free Press, The Commercial Appeal (Memphis), Knoxville News-Sentinel, and The Tennessean (Nashville). If you are trying to use this new feature from home you must come in the library to obtain the username and password. It will not be given out over the telephone. |
Some features of iBistro will not work with AOL
The problem is that AOL does its caching in a way that is not in keeping with the industry standards for iBistro; the AOL caching does not handle the session identifiers correctly. Unfortunately, there is nothing that we can do since iBistro is standards compliant, but AOL has decided not to use these standards. We recommend that you try using Internet Explorer or Firefox with your AOL acct. |
Wireless Internet now Available
We are pleased to add wireless Internet access for patrons who would like to bring their laptop computers to the library. This service is free to our patrons and is only available during library hours. To use the service, just stop at the circulation desk to obtain a login. This login is good for one day. Please review any information pertaining to your computer wireless network settings before coming to the library so that you will be able to configure your laptop correctly. |
